MACROECONOMIC ANALYSIS SERIES: Monthly Inflation, November 2021

Inflation in October was recorded at 1,66 percent year-on-year, strengthening again compared to the previous month with inflation of 1,60 percent. Strengthening inflation in this period was driven by strengthening core inflation and government-regulated prices. Meanwhile, holding back inflation this month is inflation at volatile prices which is weakening. Core inflation was recorded at 1,33 percent, stronger than the previous month with inflation of 1,30 percent. Inflation in the government regulated price component also strengthened from 0,99 percent in September 2021 to 1,47 percent in October 2021. On the other hand, inflation in the volatile price component weakened again from 3,51 percent in September 2021 to 3,16 .2021 percent in October XNUMX.
