MACROECONOMIC ANALYSIS SERIES: Monthly Inflation, March 2021

March 3, 2021

Inflation in February was recorded at 1,38 percent year-on-year, down 0,17 percent compared to the previous month. This correction in general inflation was driven by a significant weakening in the volatile goods component of inflation, which weakened by 1,3 percent from January 2021. This weakening was large enough to cover the strengthening of inflation in the group of goods with government regulated prices of 0,32 percent.
