MACROECONOMIC ANALYSIS SERIES: Monthly Inflation, April 2022

Inflation (YoY) in March 2022 was recorded at 2,64% or increased by 1,27% compared to annual inflation in March 2021. The strengthening of inflation in March 2022 was caused by strengthening core inflation, government-regulated price components, and prices things are volatile. In general, the increase in commodity prices such as cooking oil, household fuel, red chilies and gold jewelry are domestic factors that contribute to inflation in March 2022.
