Indonesia's non-oil and gas trade balance in September 2019 recorded a surplus of USD 0,60 billion, but was not able to cover the oil and gas balance deficit of USD 0,76 billion, so that Indonesia's trade balance in total recorded a deficit of USD 0,16 billion. The deficit in September 2019 was due to the increase in the volume of imported goods even though the aggregate price of imported goods experienced a relatively larger decline compared to the decline in the price of exported goods.
