ECONOMIC ANALYSIS SERIES: TRADE AND INDUSTRY BRIEF, July 2020

The Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) officially came into effect in early July 2020. This partnership agreement is expected to increase the value of trade and investment flows from Australia to Indonesia. Apart from that, this collaboration also provides an opportunity for Indonesian business actors to be able to market their products to Australia and collaborate with investors from Australia. This July edition of the Trade and Industry Brief would like to briefly explain the important points of IA-CEPA along with the opportunities and several future challenges that Indonesia will face.
