Indonesia's non-oil and gas trade balance in June 2019 recorded a surplus of USD 1,16 billion, able to cover the oil and gas balance deficit of USD 0,97 billion, so that Indonesia's trade balance in total recorded a surplus of USD 0,2 billion. The June 2019 surplus was caused by a fairly large decline in the volume of imports of goods even though the terms-of-trade or real exchange rate for Indonesian exports and imports and the volume of Indonesian exports also experienced a decline.
