ECONOMIC ANALYSIS SERIES: TRADE AND INDUSTRY BRIEF, December 2020

2020 will be a year that is difficult for many people to forget because the world and Indonesia are faced with two crises at the same time: a health crisis and an economic crisis as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Facing 2021, economic recovery is still a challenge, but the bright spot is in the trade balance which as of November cumulatively recorded a surplus of 19,7 billion USD and several industrial sectors that are still growing during the pandemic, namely Food and Beverages, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, and Basic Metals .
