Green Economy and Climate Change Study

This study group carries out research activities on environmental and agricultural sector policies. The study group is also involved in environmental and green economy assessments. Environmental Economics Study Group (EERG) has officially been part of LPEM FEB UI since 2017. EERG has been involved in various topics, including renewable energy transition, palm oil and biodiesel policy, environmental services assessment, green growth, waste management, sustainable finance, public climate finance, sustainable fisheries, disaster & climate resilient economy, and the sustainable recovery agenda from COVID -19. EERG continue to provide evidence-based recommendations, particularly for policymakers, to support sustainable policy trajectories in Indonesia.

Dr. Alin Halimatussadiah
Environmental Economics, 'Green' Economy

Dr. Alin Halimatussadiah has been an active lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (FEB UI) since 2004. He obtained a doctorate from the University of Indonesia in 2013 with a focus on natural resource and environmental economics. He has led the topics in this study group since 2017. He has collaborated with various stakeholders, such as policy makers, the private sector and the community, donors, experts, both at the national and international levels. He is a certified expert in several areas, such as sustainability reporting, sustainable finance, impact investing, climate finance, and renewable energy financing. Currently he is focusing on his career as a lecturer at FEB UI, and as a researcher and teacher at LPEM FEB UI.
