Jakarta, LPEM FEB UI – The application of tax thresholds and the response of MSMEs is the subject of a study by Dr. Himawan Saputro. One of the important findings in this study is how the simplification of the tax system for MSMEs is not only related to high or low tax rates, but also the extent to which bookkeeping, recording and tax administration requirements are simplified. Next, Chaikal Nuryakin, Ph.D., presented the results of his study regarding company behavior towards VAT thresholds in Indonesia. From this study, it was found that many MSMEs under-reported, in order to avoid registering their company for VAT registration.

Let's find out more about the results of the tax structure reform agenda for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
