Press Release: LPEM FEB UI: GoTo Integration Helps Partners Maintain Income Amid Recovering of Offline Activities

Jakarta, 20 June 2023 – In the midst of a challenging economic situation due to the pandemic and the return of offline transactions in 2022, the integration of the technology ecosystem is able to make the partners involved in it more resilient. Resilience is reflected in partner income which tends to be consistent or increase. This is the latest study by the Institute for Economic and Community Research, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia ("LPEM FEB UI") on partners PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk ("GoTo"), the largest digital ecosystem in Indonesia.

GoTo as an inclusive and low-barrier platform creates more equal opportunities for people from various groups, encourages richer interactions, fairer representation, encourages sustainable solutions, and ultimately economic growth. LPEM UI study results show that Gojek and GoTo Financial business partners experienced an average increase in income of 5%. Meanwhile, Tokopedia's sales partners have consistent income.
