We can easily find information and claims about ongoing mining activities in conservation forests. One of them, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), in a presentation on coordination and supervision of mineral and coal management in 19 provinces at the end of 2014, stated that mining permits in conservation forest areas reached 1,37 million hectares (KPK, 2014).
