Andhika joined LPEM FEB UI in 2015 as a Research Assistant, and since 2020 has worked as a Junior Research Associate. The majority of Andhika's research is in the field of Spatial Economics, particularly related to cities, infrastructure, regional development and the environment. Andhika also has minor expertise in the topics of international trade, poverty and inequality.
Andhika also worked as an assistant lecturer under the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia from 2014 – 2016, as well as under the Master of Economic Planning and Public Policy (MPKP) since 2020. Andhika also regularly provides education and training at under LPEM FEB UI Training. Andhika obtained a Master of Science degree in Urban, Transport, and Environmental Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2019. Andhika completed his thesis entitled "Highway Access and Urban Development in the Jakarta Metropolitan Area". Previously, he obtained a bachelor's degree in economics from the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia in 2015 in the field of Regional Economics by completing a thesis entitled "Suburbanization and Access to Jabodetabek Transportation Infrastructure".
