Adityantar obtained a bachelor's degree in economics (Economic Development) from the Faculty of Economics, Parahyangan Catholic University in 2006, and a Master's degree in Planning and Public Policy from MPKP, Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia in 2009. Adityantari has been a researcher at LPEM FEB UI since 2010. Apart from that, he has also served as an assistant lecturer at the Postgraduate Program in Economic Planning and Public Policy (MPKP FEB UI) for Macroeconomics courses since 2010. His main interests are Public Planning and Policy and Monetary Economics.

Several research projects that have been carried out by Adityantari include Baseline Study Assessing Public Deliveries in the Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Decentralization (AIPD) for AUSAID in 2011, Periodic News Letter Reports and Economic Database Reports for BCA since 2010, and studies on the World Business and Public Satisfaction with Monetary Conditions for Bank Indonesia in 2011.
