Apparent Economic Recovery: Optimism Towards 2024 (Macroeconomic Analysis Series-Inflation Outlook)

We observe a declining inflation rate trend throughout 2023, back to the Bank Indonesia's inflation target. It hit the highest level in February 2023 at 5.47% and steadily decreased afterward, reaching 2.61% in December 2023. This is the lowest inflation rate in twenty decades outside the pandemic period 2020-2021.
