LPEM ANALYSIS OF BI BOARD OF GOVERNORS MEETING JANUARY 2017

Despite the 2016 annual inflation recorded at 3.02%, which is the lowest level since 2010 and the need to encourage economic growth, we maintain our opinion that BI should still maintain the benchmark interest rate at 4.75% at the Board of Governors Meeting next Thursday.
