LABOR MARKET BRIEF Volume 4, Number 3, March 2023

PIndonesian migrant workers (PMI) have a contribution to the economy and social life of their country of origin, especially from remittances which can increase family welfare and state income. However, the challenge of placing migrant workers comes not only from the supply side but also from the PMI demand side. The issue of protecting PMI is also no less important to pay attention to in developing policies for PMI. The March 2023 edition of the Labor Market Brief discusses these challenges.
