LABOR MARKET BRIEF: Volume 3, Number 12, December 2022

In several social and economic aspects, measuring inequality between women and men can be an indicator of the success of a country's development. Indonesia shows good development over time as seen from the Gender Inequality Index. However, in several other indicators, there are still several improvements that can be made. National health insurance is a program with a low gap between women and men. Meanwhile, other parameters such as internet and financial literacy have a high difference. Apart from that, victims of sexual violence who are dominated by women in various regions in Indonesia deserve serious attention.
