LABOR MARKET BRIEF: Volume 3, Number 1, January 2022

Indonesia opened the beginning of 2022 with quite good achievements based on poverty indicators recorded at the end of 2021. The number of poor people in Indonesia and the percentage of poor people experienced a decline which was also in line with improvements in the poverty depth index and poverty severity index. This improvement also shows the direction of recovery of the Indonesian economy, which also managed to emerge from the recession caused by the pandemic in the same period.
