LABOR MARKET BRIEF: Volume 2, Number 4, October 2021

Pandemic conditions also influence the dynamics of PMI stationed in various countries. As the health crisis develops and the economy continues to recover, several countries have relaxed policies restricting the flow of incoming people, which could affect the potential placement of PMI. This development is also an opportunity to increase the country's foreign exchange by increasing remittances sent from PMI. Therefore, this opportunity needs to be captured while still paying attention to the welfare of PMI abroad.
