Initiative for an Open, Inclusive, and Integrated Climate Change Model for Indonesia Workshop Series and Discussion Forum on Indonesia-Australia Energy Transition

Canberra, 03 November 2023 | Indonesia and Australia are facing crucial challenges and opportunities in the global energy transition. Even though both are rich in fossil resources, they must be prepared to face climate change by switching to low-carbon and environmentally friendly energy. Momentum for this transition is increasingly strengthening, partly due to the urgency of reducing global emissions, the trend of reducing the cost of clean technology, and increasing awareness of the importance of the energy transition among governments and business actors.
