Textile and Textile Products, Footwear and Furniture Industry: Can It Still Be Developed?

Executive Summary

The Indonesian manufacturing industry has the potential to play a role leading sectors strengthening the economy, because it is related to other sectors, and has significant added value. This study aims to (1) Analyze historical data; and (2) Projecting selected industry indicators. The objects of study include the Textile and Textile Products (TPT), footwear and furniture industry sub-sectors, in the observation period 1990 - 2012.
