GSRAT Guidelines 2023

Climate change and policies to deal with it have a major impact on physical risks and transition risks for the economy. The physical risks of climate change involve direct damage to communities, assets, and economic activities in the form of natural disasters or extreme weather conditions. The Global Systemic Risk Assessment Tool (G-SRAT) exists as a data and analytics portal that helps stakeholders understand the physical risks related to climate change. G-SRAT presents interactive maps depicting disaster threats, exposure, vulnerabilities, and risks to infrastructure and society globally. This guidance document is designed to make it easier to use G-SRAT as needed. G-SRAT provides valuable information for financial institutions, companies and governments in decision making.
