In the fourth month of 2018, or April 2018, inflation was recorded at 0,10% (mtm) or 1,09% (ytd). Inflation in April 2018 was lower than March 2018 at 0,20% (mtm) and slightly higher than April 2017 at 0,09% (mtm). This is in accordance with LPEM FEB UI's estimates in the previous month. Viewed from the expenditure group, inflation in April 2018 was caused by inflation in all expenditure components, except in the foodstuffs group where there was deflation of 0,26% (mtm). Deflation in the foodstuffs group reduced inflation pressure creating low inflation in April.
