LPEM ANALYSIS OF OCTOBER 2016 INFLATION

In October 2016, inflation (general) was recorded at 0,14% (mtm) or 3,31% (yoy). The continuation of the low inflation trend in October is in line with previous predictions. Of the seven expenditure groups, four experienced price increases, while the other three experienced price decreases. Looking at the six main commodities that form inflation, only one experienced an increase in price, namely red chilies. Meanwhile, other main commodities experienced price declines.
