LPEM INFLATION ANALYSIS IN MARCH 2017

In March 2017, deflation was recorded at 0,02% (mtm) or inflation at 3,61% (yoy). Deflation in March 2017 was the first monthly deflation since 2012. Even though there was a second phase of electricity tariff adjustments in March 2017, according to our previous predictions, deflation in March 2017 occurred due to a decrease in volatile component prices, the majority of which was formed by the food ingredients group. .
