INFLATION ANALYSIS IN MAY 2016

BPS recorded inflation (general) of 0,24% (mtm) or 3,33% (yoy) in May 2016. This low inflation is in line with LPEM FEB UI's predictions last month in line with the end of the harvest period and the fasting month approaching. Furthermore, inflation was caused by price increases in all seven expenditure groups, the last of which occurred in December last year.
